My name is Jalen Young. I am a nineteen year old young lady from the South-side of Chicago (born and raised). I am loving, self-driven, family-oriented, and outgoing. I love fashion, modeling, dancing, reading, and hanging out with friends. I am passionate about accomplishing my goals, social activism, and standing up for what I believe in and what is right. Currently, I am a sophomore at The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I am majoring in Social Work and have plans to minor in Journalism. I chose such studies because I am fervent about using my voice to enlighten, enrich, and advocate for communities across Chicago.
